Our Story

Hello, I’m Ronak Naik architect by profession, food lover by obsession. What started as weekend kitchen experiments with my mom Kavita soon turned into a mission: to create food that’s authentic, exciting, and never ordinary. We tested spice proportions, textures, plating, and even packaging until every bowl felt just right. My wife Sukanya, an interior designer, gave Rustom Rice its look and soul from the visual identity to the cultural balance you see in every detail. Our food is rooted in heritage but made for today for people who crave authentic flavors, wholesome nutrition, and effortless convenience.

At Rustom Rice, we don’t mask food with cheese, butter, or chutneys instead, we refine classics with precision, adjusting every cut, simmer, and spice to elevate flavor. Our signature drumstick soup, for instance, achieves deep umami without MSG, stock, or artificial additives, reflecting our belief that every dish should be crafted with intent, blending two rich cuisines through smart innovation.

Each dish at Rustom Rice is wholesome, balanced, and satisfying from our one-pot rice bowls with ideal proportions of carbs, fats, and proteins made using light, parboiled 1121 basmati, to our shallow-fried Soya Keema Pattice served with a slow-cooked tomato sauce made from 40% real tomatoes, without thickeners or MSG. Even our sharbats are free from artificial colors and flavors, reflecting our simple belief: food shouldn’t be overcomplicated just made better, honestly
